So far my biggest challenge is reaching outside my comfort zone and working behind the front desk. Throughout my whole life I've always worked better with more hands-on challenges, both academically and creatively. Working in the back helping out with the dental/orthopedic assistants (by cleaning brackets from braces, cutting chains for braces, handing over tools, and sterilization) tends to be my go-to job.
So far I'm still fairly new with knowing/learning the terminology and knowing how to sterilize correctly, but I think I'll start to get the hang of everything very soon. I've already caught on to how to back each dental bag full of tools correctly and learning the names for each one.
